Wave Box and Mega Flow q's

Newb question: I am thinking about purchasing a wave box and I would think I need to lower the water an inch or two in the display tank. I have the Mega Flow system and I am not sure if this is going to be easy to do. How is this done?

I really don't know for sure but if the overflow is centered it may not be necessary. How big is the tank?

The tank is a 180g.

The tank has two overflows on the back.

You will need room for a 1.5" wave. I really am not sure how to cut megaflow overflows down. I would figure you would just use a dremel or router.
