Wave box and placement of corals

Unlike the Streams, where it is not recommended to point the output of the Stream directly at the coral within a short distance, does this apply to the Wavebox as well.
Trying to aquascape and place sps frags in position relative to the Wavebox.

I take it that I should not have the corals too close or directly in front of the flow!

I have a wave box and when going it still kicks out a good pulse so I would say no Corals close to the output.

On another thought you may find the wave box works better if you let the pulse flow the length of the tank and avoid to many obsrturctions

It isn't a big deal to keep SPS fairly close, I even had xenia growing on the outlet for a whil but they were short and seemed unhappy. I would say 6" away is fine.
