Wave box mounting

hi,

My hood is made such that it covers just a bit of the waterline.

Because of the euro bracing I would have to use the magnetic holders for the wave box. From a diagram in the manual the top part of the wavebox and its magnetic holder are flushed. That means the top of the wave box in my tank will be just under water (the outside magnet got block by sides of the hood) . Is it ok?

I understand that the top part of the box should stick out by about 2cm. Is there any other mounting options for a tank with eurobracing?

Thanks.

Put the magnet hodler on the bottom and put a couple of suctino cups on top, alternatively use the magnet holder on top upside down- this gives a weak hold so one is also required on the bottom.

hi,

For the suction cup option is there a tunze part no that I can order?

If I use the mounting the magnet upside options it will mean that the inside is upside down while the outside magenet is right side up. Only two out of the four contact points are used, am I correct?

Yes, only two of four are used, both magnets have to be upside down. It is part 3060.42 for 3 suction cups. 3060.44 for 4.
