wave box on apex

Yes - You can use your wavebox with your Apex.

You still need the 6091 controller for the wavebox. You need a Y adapter to connect the apex to the 6091 controller.

0V = wavebox on.
10V = wavebox off.

I am lost on how to Y off the 6091 controller. Sorry. The cable coming from the apex, pin conects in the same as the 6091.
..

Yes you can use an Apex, It would work inplace of the Tunze Controller. The apex can be set in .1 second increments using the 10x divider. I would think this would small enough increments to use to set a decent wave but you may want to hit the Neptune forum to verify others have tried as it may not be small enough to find the perfect sweet spot.

Shawnz28 - While it is theoretically possible that it will work, the odds are pretty good that it will not. The vast majority of people who try this find that the .1 increments are insuffecient to tune the wavebox. Realistically, a minimum of .01 increments would be required. So, for 1 in 10 it probably does work.

The 6091 is an analog controller so allows an infinite range of increments.

Anyways, camp, you need the Y adapter because both the 6091 and Apex cables are male. The Y adapter is female on both sides. The Y adapter allows you to connect the two cables together. It also allows you to control two waveboxes if you need too.

At the risk of getting in trouble, google this:

abcha0s Neptune Apex controlling Tunze Wavebox

Take a look at post #117

I can't guarantee that it's supported by Tunze or Neptune, but I can assure you that it works?

ok that what I was afraid of and why I suggested the search. As for the y adaptor I am not sure I follow or understand how you would use the varible speed port on the apex and the tunze controller at the same time. I assume your post you mention explains it and when I am by a computer I will have to look.
