Wave maker modes on 24hr cycle

This new AI Nero 5 pump seems really interesting. Its a standalone pump which can be programmed via your phone to simulate various modes over a 24 hr cycle.

-Is there any advantage of having multiple modes over a 24hr cycle?

For people without aquarium controllers such as Apex, Profilux:

-Are Nero 5s and to some extent Gyres the only pumps on the market with this feature?
(Gyre users have 2 preset 24hr cycles they can choose, but it's fixed.)

Yes.. if your friend or neighbor just has regular powerheads you can say "mine is bigger than yours" and win the sword fight...
But beyond the "coolness" factor.. No there is really no proven benefit..

I just got an icecap gyre and it has the ability to switch modes over a 24 hour cycle.. I don't use that feature but it has it..
Just having the feature though adds 3 inches to my.... ooh oops.. :lmao:
