Wavebox + 6101s in 150g Peninsula

Hi all,

I'm planning my peninsula tank with dimensions 55*32*20. I have 7095 and 1 Wavebox, 2 6101s, 2 6095 and one 6055 (may add another). Overflow will be in the middle of the short side, not a c2c. I want to use the pumps at both sides of the overflowbox. I'm not sure how a wavebox will react with the overflow, any suggestions?

Tunze manuals says that connect the wavebox to one channel of 7095 with a 6101, and another 6101 to other channel. This will make 6 hours intervals of each channel. Since this is a peninsula and I need a strong flow at 55", I think adding one 6095s to each 6101 seems rational to me. What do you suggest and any corrections to this plan?

I would run the wavebox on its own with the controller it came with. To use it with 7095 you change the jumper in the controller to extern and connect the slave cable to the 7095 and this only allows you to alternate between wavebox and pumps in interval mode. I would use the 6101 and 6095, one on each side on each channel and the wavebox on it's own controller.

Hi Roger,

l just wonder if your answer would be different if l had 7096 instead of 7095?

Regards

Not always, while the 7096 has a built in wavecontroller, this would tie up ports 3 and 4 for the wavebox and you have 4 pumps. A branch adapter would be needed and even then Interval mode would alternate between pumps and wavebox. It is generally just a simpler install to use the wavebox on its own.
