wavebox 6212 problems

I bought the wavebox several months ago and had trouble getting it to make waves at first but it finally did. Then out of nowhere it stops making waves. the pump is working fine, just no waves. Whats going on? I've taken it apart and made sure that the impeller is clean.

So the pump still running normal? still pulse?

How about the controller?

If everything working normal.... that lead me to my last question

How old is your kid or kids?

Someone must have play with the controller

So the pump runs? Does the controller function? My guess would be as Steve said, somebody adjusted the controller.

Well of course the first thing i did was check the controller. The pump runs, the controller seems to function and I don't have any kids. I'm kinda stumped

If everything working properly, someone must have messing around with it.

If you rearrange the rock or even just fast growing corals can alter the timing required. It is also possible that the timing was a bit off and over time the slight difference diminishes the wave, if this is the case it will rebuild over a few days and then decline over a few days.

the problem still remains though that what ever i set the controller to, it won't create a wave. I have tried everything many times with still no success

ok.... I could help but i have to see it in person to be able to figure out the problem. I can stop by on my way home from work to fix it for you. I drive from Westminster to Miramar everyday. You mention taking the pump apart to clean, Where did you place the blue sponge?

I would take Steve up on the offer, these problems are difficult to diagnose except in person in the actual tank it will be running in. Steve is not an employee, he is just a fan and a good guy but he is probably more experience with the wavebox than anyone I know.
