wavebox anyway to extend the length

Hi.

Playing with a wave box, but having a hard time with a suitable
place to put it.

If I could drop the box another 4 to 5 cm into the tank it would be perfect, but the wavebox would need to be 6 cm taller.

So any easy fix from a Tunze part to allow the box to be extended?

I can see benefits, as it would let the output of the box to be lower in the tank and gives the box more volume so even less chance of air being pulled into the pump.

Or it may just add to the pressure the pump has to work against

We have considered this in terms of making a giant wavebox for public aquaria and zoos, witha bigger pump of course. It wouldn't be to hard to do at the factory but otherwise it might be a challenge. I would bet if you called them or best of all asked Claude the next time he is in the area to have one made for you it could be arranged. It would basically be adding another half Comline unit to the body but to really work it needs to be waterproof.
