Roger,
I have a wavebox that I've been running for a while now and I get about a 1" wave on my 5'x2'x2' tank. The issue I have is that I have a center overflow that sticks out about 4" from the back so I have to put the wavebox on my right side 4" from the back but this causes a large dead spot on my back right corner. I tried something which I saw at a LFS which was mounting the wavebox on the back right corner but shooting into the front glass unabstructed. I was also about to recreate the 1" wave from left to right. Is there any harm in setting it up this way?
