wavebox broken

Hi Roger,
I have been running a wave box since they were introduced earlier, with no problem.
Yesterday it stopped working.
I pulled the box and found that the shaft between the propeller and the brake housing snapped.
Have you seen this before? is this a design flaw? The reason I ask is because there was no debris or foreign material in the pump which may have caused the problem.
How do I order the replacement parts What do I need?

PM me an address and I'll get one out to you. In general this results from an impact, the only exception I am aware of is that if the bearing shell comes loose it will saw through the shaft, this is indicated by a very clean break. Stomatid snails are the usual cause they move fast (for snails) and can get in through the screen. I have had this happen to me.
