Does anyone else use their Wavebox to dispense food to their critters? I have an auto-feeder loaded with Spectrum pellets mounted right above the Wavebox with the "grate" slid partially open. At noon and at 8pm the fish know when it's feeding time. It's more of a feeding frenzy when they are fed this way vs just dropping it into the tank. Another advantage is that food is released (propelled) already submerged into the water column and doesn't have a chance to float away thru your overflow. When I feed frozen food I just plunk the cubes into the Wavebox as well.
I probably feed thru the Wavebox about 60% of the time depending on what I am feeding. Recently started using Cyclopeeze (aka "crack" for fish) this way and it works awesome!
