wavebox fountain

tunze wave box came loose today while i was at work never has this problem before

well 25 gallon of water on the floor and burnt mag pump and a sedra (6100 kicked off)

lucky the metal halide wasnt on


anyways i am using the clamps that came with it and the suction cup is there a better way to mount this and part numbers

What brand of aquarium? Can you post a pic of how you have it installed? Usually when this happens the bottom screw is too tight and the top screw is too loose, this gives an uplift. The bottom screw should be just snug and the top screw tight, this pushes it inward toward the glass.

oceanic set up the same as a stream would be

the only explanation is the plastic gave enoff to let the wavebox loose and went from there

i am still happy with the wavebox and is great for moving the water around

Just double check the screws, I have found on my tanks that if I tighten the screw at the bottom too much, when I tighten the top one it acts to lever the box upwards, if you get the bottom one just snug and tighten the top one it will push the box in toward the glass and give a more solid hold.
