Wavebox in a gyre system

Hello i am using 2 tunze 6201's and a 6125 to create a gyre flow pattern in my 300 gallon. The 6201's are cycling 30-100% and i have alot of random flow even though its a gyre.
I want to incorperate a wavebox for a small wave maybe a 1/2 inch for the nems.
Will the gyre cancel out the box and will i have to move the tunze's facing each other and blow my sand all over in the middle of my tank? (The reason i switched to the gyre.)
Can i achive a small back and fourth motion without changing the gyre?

Maybe have the 6201's on the wavebox timer and go on and off the same time as the wavebox?

As long as the pumps are not aimed directly at the outlet of the wavebox it should have no effect on the wavebox function and both flows should be compatible.
