Wavebox installation

Where should I mount the unit for optimal performance? The tank is 36x24x24 (90 gal.) with a corner overflow box. I will be adding a stream in the future as well.
Thanks

Needs to be on a side wall on the tank with a clear view to the other side of the tank. Rockwork in the path of the pumps flow will buffer the wave. The downside is waveboxs do not typically work well in a 36" tank, and the wave will not be very large. Really anything under 48" does not make good use of one

Look like the nano wavebox will be the best candidate :D

Thats what I am wondering too. But more I think about it I dont know if that would do it, I cannot see how the nano would work any better in a short tank as I think it isnt the pump power etc but more just wave harmonics and limitations in a short span. Unless the nano can cycle faster and maybe that is the limiting factor on the large one but I am unsure

The Nano Wavebox has a different controller that pulses a bit faster. The range is different It should work on a 36" tank but the wave will be fast and short, maybe 1/2" high and every .35-.4 sec.
