wavebox not pushing out water

My wavebox does ran, but its not pushing out water. I have the dial all the way to the max and I've followed the instructions on the timing knob. I've just replace the impeller. Please help.

is it the 6212 or 6206. So the wavebox working but no water pushing out of the box? Can you please explain a bit more. I get kinda confuse...

Its the 6212. The wavebox is working. At first it was fine, I was getting about 1/2 inch of wave but after about a week I'm now only getting 1/8 inch of wave. I tried tweaking it but no success. I also tried cleaning the box and impeller.

Can you please provide the dimension of the tank. Have you change anything like aquascape or adding large piece of coral lately?

Its a 75 gal tank. I haven't change any aquascape or added any large piece of coral. Just frustrated spending that much money and not getting much flow out of it.

I think we should start at square one, as almost all of the situations where the pump is thrusting water like this are caused by it needing dialed in to the correct timing or needs a new location. Since you were only getting a 1/2 at first I think it is one of the following

1. First off does the pump have clear line of sight across the tank? Large rocks etc in its path will buffer the wave action

2. Secondly if you have not make sure the pumps speed is turned all the way up using the small dial on the junction box.

3. Using the pulse dial turn it all the way counter clockwise so starting at the fastest pulse. then turn it clockwise in TINY increments, my way of describing this is if you can see the dial move you are moving it too much at once. Wait about 30-60 seconds between each movement to let the wave begin if you have found the correct timing.

Also be sure the sponge is not over the pump inlet, it is a vibration dampner and not a filter. It will clog and reduce performance if placed over the intake.

Be sure the screws for the rails are threaded into the holes in the back of the box even if you are using magnet holders, this alone will add 1/8" to wave height in some cases.
