I have a custom 60*48*30 coming in April and wanted to do a wave box on it as well. I want to mount it on the back wall of the tank though. WOuld one wave box be suffucuent or do I need two for this tank?

It won't work very well this way, it really needs to be aimed across the longest portion of the tank, I do think you will need an extension.
