Wavebox on overflow

I am going to help my friend with his wavebox since I have one. Could the wave box be mounted on the overflow facing the other side of the tank, the overflow is square. The reason we ask is magnets are hard to come by, We have some magnets on order but looking at a week or two before they come in. the Wavebox would sit about 10" into the tank. I would guess we would just have to run a shorter wave

That is ok, I wanting to run it by you first, I think we will try it until the magnets come in, can not hurt anything.
