Wavebox Placement

Roger,

Hope all is well....

I wanted to double check the placement of my wavebox on my 300g Deep Dimension Tank. The tank sticks out from wall, with the overflow box centered on the end against the wall (see drawing). The wavebox is currently on the right side of the overflow box pointing down the length of the tank. The tank is 6ft long at that point. Would you change the position?

See the drawing in my gallery here..

How wide is the tank?

Its 3ft wide. Dimensions of the tank are 6ft long x 36 in Wide x 27 in tall.

The position may be OK, I can't tell exact dimensions, the closer it is to the center, the better as the tank is very wide.

The box is about 3 inches off the side glass right now. There is another 3 or 4 inches between it and the overflow box. Would it be okay to snug it up against the overflow box toward the center? That first rock pile is about the same height at the output hole on the box.

I would just try it where it is, moving it more toward the center, if it could be done so the rock was not in the way, would likely help.
