wavebox placing problem

I just purchased a wavebox around couple weeks ago and am wondering where should I place the wavebox in my 40"X40" tank.
Does anyone know how to get highly performance if I wanna place the wavebox in square tank?I'm considering to grab another one for the tank 'cos I think it probably couldn't makes great wave in square tank.
I have four plans to set it/them up,here're the pics.

The plan A and C is for one wave box.
The Plan B and D is for two wave box.
Could you guys give me a suggestion if you have any experience of this product and I'll be greatly appreciative.

I would go Plan A for overflow and plan B for wavebox placement. Having the overflow in the center of the wave will cause a more even overflow rate (Less noise) and should diminish the wave height less.

Do you think I have to go with two waveboxes to get better performance in square tank?

Plan A possibly with an added extension box. I am not sure this will work though.
