Wavebox problems

So I got a used 6212 wavebox and I just plugged it in and the power plug that goes into the little box of the wavebox wasnt making a good connection. So I giggled it around a bit and the unit started working.

About 10 seconds later something in that little box started smoking and now it doesnt work anymore

Ok so I opened up the small box and it appears as though the power plug fried. If I jump the wires past the socket the box works...so what can I do here for a permanent solution?

Can you send me the motor and I will replace the socket?

Should be able to, what the turnaround once you get it? Do I need a RMA number or anything?

Also, while I have it jumped I tuned it and the motor is pretty noisy(as in I can hear it from across the house) Not bad sounding just a bump and loud hum when its on. The unit was used so Im not sure it needs to "break in" but anything else I can do to lessen the noise?

Regarding the noise, this isn't uncommon on a used pump because salt and minerals harden inside in storage and a rinse with hot water of the internals usually solves this problem.

Typically 1 day, we ship back by UPS ground, no RMA is needed, just include a note with your return address and phone number.
