Wavebox sponge?

Hey Roger,

How have things been lately?
I have a quick question.
What is the main purpose of the sponge that wraps around the intakes of the stream pump in the wavebox?

I think I am getting micro bubbles from the WB.
Has anyone reported this?

No, it could happen though if the box is running empty or close to empty on it's pulses. The solution is to turn the intake so the solid portion faces up, this will also weaken the wave a bit.

Sean,

If you are using the magnet holders...make sure you have the 2 threaded holes on the backside of the Wavebox plugged with the provided nylon screws. I left those out at first and had micro-bubbles. Looked inside and realized that 2 streams of water were entering the box thru the 2 holes and splashing to create bubbles.
