wavebox/stream placement

For a 48x30x24 tank(center overflow) with a wavebox, stream 6100 with single controller and a 6080, how would i position and set up these three to get the max flow suitable for an SPS tank?

Would there be any difference if the tank was 3 inches narrower?

A narrower tank will make a taller wave. I don't know how much difference 3" will make but I know that there is about a 1/4- 1/2" difference in wave height going from a 75 to a 120. I would place th wavebox roughly centered on one end and the 610 on the same side as the wavebox in the back corner. I would use the 6080 in the opposite back corner.

Will the combo of the wave box, 6100, 6080 give me enough flow for such a size tank, assuming the return is about 2500-3000lit/hr

I think it should be quite sufficient, possibly too much for some lower flow corals.
