Wavebox Thick O-Ring

Roger:

I cleaned out my wavebox pump ... so far alarm is not sounding. thanks!

BUT: the pump isn't perfectly seated, slightly angled up. The instructions do not indicate where that thick ring on the pump output nozzle is supposed to be positioned, there are no pictures in the manual, and of course I forgot whether it was on the inside of the box, the outside of the box, or wedged into that opening through which the nozzle goes.

Can you describe (or better post a picture) of just where that thing is supposed to go? I'm guessing that is what is messing up the position of the pump.

Not relishing removing the box again to fix this ... every time I reattach it that magnet manages to snap against the glass and give me a heart attack!

Slide the magnet into position rather than lay it over the opposing magnet.

It goes behind the cover, it is a vibration dampner, that is all.

Behind the cover means, inside the box, so one would not see any part of it when looking at the fully assembled box, right?

Well, that's how I have it. Not sure why I can't get the pump seated perfectly horizontal. sigh. No biggie just draws my eye to it is all.

Oh yeah ... I always slide the magnet on. The inside one snaps, or the outside one needs to be rotated 180deg sometimes, there always seems to be something that causes more of a violent snap than I am comfortable with.....

It could be the cable? You might need to rotate the pump to better line up the cable with the hole that it exits through.
