Roger,

I have a wavebox 6215 in the corner of my tank. The Deminsions are 72x36x30D. I have trried varies conbinations of settings but have not been able to generate ant appreciable waves. I might get some 1 to 2 inch waves with short wave lengths. I was hoping for a bit high waves with a longer wave lengths. Any tips?

Make sure it positioned so it gets a clear shot down the length of the tank. Wave length is a function of tank length, there is only one frequency that will produce a single wave for your tank size and layout and you must tune in that exact frequency. When the top of the tank looks like a see saw you hit it right. I wouldn't expect more than 1.5" and I would be cautious of exceding 2", that is a lot of stress on the tank, you would shifting a weight of approx 85lbs at a 2" height.
