I wonder what will be wave frequency depending on tank length. I saw several wavebox videos and for short tanks waves look very un-natural (way too frequent). Since this more personal preference a question about a shortest tank length where wave look more natural is not really appropriate 
Instead information about timing for a particular length will give a better idea.
