What Wavebox would you recommend for my 60x30x24?
The regular or the nano, and what is the newer modle?

I would get the 6215, I would expect the 6206 (Nano) would perform poorly as the tank is very wide and above the recommended gallons.

What placement would you recommend for the wavebox?

It must go on a sidewall aimed down the length of the tank, other than that, you will want to position it where it has a practically clear shot down the tank.
