Wavemaker for 240

My Wavemaker's on my 240 are starting to act up and are noisy.
I am looking for quiet since we're tired of hearing the whine
from the Jebao WP-60

8x2x2 are the dimensions with a middle overflow.
Mixed reef with SPS and LPS

What do you guys recommend?
I've loooked at
Tunze
Jebao
Hydor
Coral Box

I'd like one controller that can handle 4 smaller pumps to get the flow right.

Have you considered the Gyres? The reviews I've read and seen on this forum state the water movement is significant with relatively quiet operation. Look into the 250 model w/ controller. I believe one controller will operate two units.

I had 2 Jebao gyres running for a couple months and wasn’t happy with the flow so I put the noisy Jebaos back in.
It may have been to small for the tank so I put them in the frag tank.
They do move some water.

The Jebao cross flow wave makers aren't nearly as powerful or reliable as the Gyre. As for the PP and SW series, yes those are built well and move some water.

I have two Rw-15s in my 75 and I can slosh the water out with a standing wave if I wanted to.

I have done qp, rw, sw and pp. I have on occasion settled into a quiet phase but within a day some minor thing changes and they get loud again. Like, I'm going to bed but it sounds like a buzzing alarm alarm is going off down the hallway
next build is getting either vortechs or current USA wavemakers

So you want new powerheads to replace cheap noise powerheads. However you are considering a cheap replacement, even down to being the same brand you currently have. Jeboa is cheap, CoralBox is rebranded Jeboa. Maxpec or Icecap Gyre I think are your best bet for moving a lot of water in a long tank and has all the functions you want. Icecap is the lower cost version but still looks very nice.

I haven’t checked into the Current USA pumps.
Wonder if there noisy like Jebao?

I have heard they are quiet but then again people tell me that Jebaos are quiet....

I have noticed that the noises produced by vibrations from wavemakers are heavily dependent on the materials they travel through (or don't). For example, I cut my Jebao sounds in half just by shortening the tank lid dimensions. By not having a rigid 6-sided box, there was maybe more flex, or less material traveled through, which dampened the noises.
So, I would attribute some of the different experiences among us to how stands are constructed, the lids, acrylic vs glass, canopy sitting on the tank or not, etc.

I too have struggled with wavemakers. It's either quiet and expensive (Neptune WAV, Vortech, Tunze) or cheapish and large (Sicce) or cheap and loud (Jebao) or functionally limited (Aqamai) ...

So I'll try out the Current wavemakers (I haven't seen enough reviews out yet) and if that doesn't work, I heard the Hydor's don't make clicks now. There are also the Innovative Marine WaveLinks which are new as of this month...I don't know anything about aquamedic either..

I can’t hear my jebaos at all. The led fans are louder.

The tank is in my living room, all equipment except the powerheads and the lights are a floor below in the basement..

I’m right next to it watching TV right now typing this. I can hear water sloshing, I can hear the LED fans. I can’t hear the powerheads. Granted if I crank them to 100% I can most certainly hear a whine. I’m running them at 50%.
