Way OT: pictures of my birds

Wow, they are both so cute!!!! I also have to commend you on how clean their cages are and how healthy and well cared for they look. Did Maverick come out a lot during the day? I'd love one, but have read that they need a lot of socializing, but are extremely nocturnal and don't like to be up during the day. Have you found it to be true?

They are the best pets, because you can take them with you anywhere, except my work =(
They are nocturnal, but they spend that bonding time in your pocket or bra, loving your smell, your voice and your heartbeat, you become their tree, seriously.
I would reccomend getting them at about 5 weeks and still be able to feed them. And just keep them in your pocket all day long, they sleep and you might forget you have them there so you have to be carefull when you hug people. They wake up at about dusk.
The first one I had was a rescue from hurricain Floydd ( I think) He was soo awesome, he would go nuts as soon as he heard my voice, he was completely bonded.
I know this is gross to some people, but we would take them to Chilis with us ( we were regulars) and the servers used to come to our table just to see them.
I would carry a small carring cage withme just incase we were out late and he wanted to explore and possibly get lost.

Pinocchio always looks so fake to me...it's those googly eyes on the top of his head. They are just looking at me almost like a half-drunk redneck. All these animals are just too cute, guys.

Will you post up a pic of your Dobi? I LOVE DOBIES!!!!!! We have a Blue female about 3 years old and she is the best! Awesome pet pics!
