ways to stimulate false percula to breed

you could always try a picture of two clowns breeding on the glass. it can work for hosting, so why not breeding?

Ha ha, there is someone else who is looking for a way to prevent them from spawning.
It is a natural process that is in the hands of the big guy. I know no trick to get them to spawn on demand. Just wait, it'll happen when they're ready.

What are best methods to stimulate false percula to breed? add a flower pot or tile? Feed more often?
feed Viagra

sorry.

seriously though... feed more and feed more often. Maintain an ideal environment for spawning.

Going on what Gary said, make sure that they are healthy and happy. Spawning will take extra energy, so if the clowns basic needs aren't being met, they most likely won't spawn.

If they are fed well, in a stable environment, and have minimal stress, they'll spawn eventually. If they have a bunch of fish harassing them they probably won't spawn. That is one reason why people have success keeping them in tanks by themselves with only a clay pot.

I've heard that they will spawn as young as 6 months, but mine took about a year and a half. Good luck to you. There are some great resources here (specifically in the breeding forum).

I have placed a flower pot into my breeding tanks, so far my female black ocellaris has taken interest in it, she likes to sit inside of it, however my male doesnt like it.... great:D

It doesn't really matter what he likes. If she likes it and wants to spawn on it, he'll follow.
