ALSO, I found these UVA/UVB ultraviolet T5HO bulbs that are used for "desert sun" reptiles. UV in the 320-420nm range.
I plan to use these (OR other T5HOs) to complement my LED fixture. This is the "light spectrum" that MH generate that most LED combination do joy provide.
These require "no glass or plastic" protective screens (they block out UVA and definitely UVB).
Large 200mm fans with less than 25dB (20dB) of noise.
These fans have ball bearings which mean they will last longer and run quieter. Sleeve bearings will wear over time and make more noise.
These are 5W (watts) each and with two means I will need at least a 10W power supply.
I will hook these up to 12VDC power supply that will also be used to run my moonlights (through a FlexBlock or similar BuckPuck driver). This was chosen because I want fully dimmable moonlights rather than dimming 350mA of moonlights down to only 5%, which will probably still be very bright.
44" long by 8" wide aluminum heatsink ordered from HeatsinkUSA. It will fit my two NZXT 200mm fans perfectly.
Also ordered 5x ELN-60-48D power supplies at $23 each (after shipping costs & tax, ends up being $26 each).
Also ordered a ELN-60-12D power supply.
This will be used to power my two fans (5watts each).
This will also be used power my moonlight driver system.
My moonlight setup will driven by FlexBlock "step-up" 350mA constant current driver from LEDSupply.COM The FlexBlock will be powered by the ELN-60-12D 12VDC output & can boost up to 48volts (& means it can control 12~14 LEDs). FlexBlocks are dimmable so they will be hooked up to my VDM on my Apex.
I use a FlexBlock because I want to have fine-tune, low current control from 10mA up to 350mA since moonlights need to be "dim". Running a ELN-60-48D directly on the LEDs would not let you dim quiet as "finely". So instead, I use the ELN-60-12D (which I already need to power my fans) and get a FlexBlock.
