Im new to this forum and im looking for a reef club to join...even though im not a member and cant join in the swap...I will be attending and can bring food...hope to see some nice corals I can put in my tank...1 question, will I be able to become a member?

First welcome! In order to become a member all you have to do is come to a meeting LOL Even though you will not be able to participate in the club swap (you have to have joined in on one meeting within the past year) you can still particpiate in the raffle plus you get to meet members.
Just like Ken stated. Start a thread on your tank and about yourself.

Welcome. This is a very relaxed club. No dues, just show up and you are in! There is no secret hand shake (that I know about) or secret decoder ring either!:lol:

After talking to the BOD and members pointing out previous threads. We WILL still ask for the $20 buy in along with 3 frags for the swap. With a projected amount of a little over half of clubs funds being spent on corals and prizes it made sense to implement the $20 buy in.
***So $20 and 3 frags to get into the swap***

Thanks everyone for the nice welcoming, I havent been doing reef for too long only 4 months now...bought some frags from a a member and he told me about this club...ill definetly be a regular...I will post a thread about my tank...see you guys at the swap

Sure but we will work out something with BOD since the frags for the competition is free to members as a holiday gift.

I have some sps
1x blue tennis.
1x mystic monti
1 or 2 sky blue acro multi branch
3x space monster frags 3p - 6p..
Plus I'm sure I can grab some more out of my tank if needed =)..
Possibly a rose millie I think I got 2 of the same..
Hope there is a car frag left for me I've been wanting one for a while since my single I bought at full retail a while ago vanished into my water column lol..
See you guys there regardless broke the news to my wife that I'm going on my b day to this ha ha..
