A favorite fish.:-). New or old.. We all have/had a favorite in current or old tanks. Fish or reef. Pics encouraged...

Here's mine Midas blenny that is interested in anything that's goin on in or out of the tank. He swims in my hand , eats straight from the turkey Baster and just yesterday I was giving my brother in law some of my sand to seed his cycling tank and was scooping off the top layer and he just kept sitting in the cup and wouldn't get out. Every time I put it in he would just swim right in like it was his new house. And he also has the coolest house on the reef.

I have had many awesome fish over the years, it is hard to say what was my favorite. But if forced to pick one I would say my Achille's from my old 300 gallon FOWLR. I eventually had to sell it due to its aggression towards the larger angels in the tank.

My Idol is my favorite. He really seems to like me and come swim by me when I come near. The other fish swarm looking for food, but he seems to come say Hello. I love him :)

Nice pics Achille's are awesome wish I had a tank big enough. My future build will prob only be big enough for maybe 1 tang.prob a purple in a 150..

A friend of mine has three moorish idols in a 310 gal fish only his are kinda scared and timid though nothing like what your is that's really cool.

I've had a fe wover the years. One of my all tiem favorite and top of my list thought was my pair of naso tangs. Just awsome beautiful fish that wern't afraid of anything and had a great personaility.

Second would be my Moorish Idol of 4 years. wasn't afraid of anything. Even when i would clean the tank and have my hand inside the tank, he wasn't scared and didn't run to hide like most fish.

Sharing second would be my Majestic Angle. Again an awsome fish.

Thanks for sharing your prize fish guys. Here's a pic a real crappy one of my friends Picasso Clark's clowns he has.. They are a breeding pair but he doesn't have the skill to raise the fry. We're thinking of transferring them to my house so I can take a shot at raising them and keep these guys around and make some people happy and our wallets too :-). Again sorry for the pic he just sent it to me while we were talking about the future plans. I will get a better pic when I get them here. Anybody else have these?

Good looking fish.
DapG8GT, love the Pic's of the Blenney in the rocks. I've had a few of them and love their personaility. From you screen name, I'm assuming you have a G8? I had one, v6, but had to get rid of it due to to many issues. But good looking cars. ;)

Secreast, Awsome looking Regal.

jnc914, Nice looking Goldflake as well. I had one for several years but lost him in a power outage along with my other fish.

Thanks The blenny is a character most personality I've had in a marine fish. My all time favorite was my female albino tiger oscar she absolutely loved me and only me. She would come up and let me pet her and eat food straight out of my hand. She would always want attention from me when I was by her tank swimming and splashing. The wife called her my other dog LOL. She paid no attention to my wife it was the weirdest thing it's like she knew the difference between us. She died at 12 years old. Reason I got her was when my wife and I were dating I told her to stick her finger in the baby oscar tank at the LFS and it jumped up and locked on her finger for a second and I was sold.

So you had a lot of issues with your G8? Suspension and brakes I'm guessing. I had some issues also but luckily they were minor and fixed under warranty. I've done a lot of work to it so far and lets just say its not stock anymore:-). Thanks for participating with the pics you have some beautiful additions to the thread..

Funny, I had a pair of tiger Oscars for years. Had them jumping out of the water to eat food from my hand. But I stopped that when they got bigger. My female would let me rub her side like petting a dog. They were in a tank with a 2' long Plecostomas that was even older.

I had a lot of problems with the G8, the last straw was the engine so I returned it under the lemon law. Don't hate but I bought a Hyundai Genessis R Spec sedan. Stock it's pushing 430 HP, high 12's in the 1/4.:)

My favorite fish is in my avatar, but here's a big picture of him:

The other day I put a plastic basket in the tank to hold some frags until I get around to gluing them and now the blenny thinks it's his private condo.
