There won't be better photos until she's finished his Prazi tx.

that is beautiful, never seen one, hope wife doesn't or I will have to pick one up. Where did this come from and how much $$$

I was picking up one of my horns from the shop today and I got a call from a LFS owner friend saying he had an unusual color morph fuzzy that looked green, so Renee and I popped by after I got off work. When we saw the fish, my jaw hit the floor. The reason the fish looked green was due to the blue tank back from a nearby tank reflecting off of the yellow.

The fish is a 2" SL juvie female, and she's a real looker, altho she's gilling a bit, so Renee is treating her with praziquantel in case she's flukey. Hopefully, all will go smoothly.

This color morph is pretty rare, only occurring in fish from the Lembeh Strait, so these specimens typically command a price of $300-$400, however, this specimen slipped thru the system, and was purchased from the wholesaler as a "fuzzy dwarf", and sold to us as the same ($18). You never know what you'll find if you're patient and ready to move fast if something shows up.

Just when we had all the fish weaned... ;)

Is it just me...or do you two have some incredibly GOOD luck?! lol I'm really looking forward to more pictures!

We've built our collection over the course of a few years. Right now is a good "season" for fish as spring is when many species are collected.

From reading that post, part of it is good luck, but part of it is a great demonstration of why it's important to have a good relationship with your LFS.

So true. Altho we do admittedly get stock from DD and BZ, and some dry goods from various etailers, we always try to spread our patronage around to the better LFS. Fortunately, we know all of the owners on a mutual first name basis, and over the years, have developed excellent rapports with them.

After all, where would the hobby be without them?

We're VERY excited about this fish, and hope she does really well for us.
