We have moved!

Pardon the mess as we just got back from MACNA when this pic was taken and the show items are still sprawled on the floor.

what? thats all you have in stock/..lol no wonder we have to wait.. you need to get that place filled to the rafters with Tunze equipment... lol

That is on a good day. I have more stock than they do in Germany at this time. While the lead time on most products has gotten much shorter, we still remain perpetually behind. Despite all our best efforts to grow, demand is growing at almost 30% annually worldwide, we have had a hard time making enough and all of the products sell pretty well. We have plenty of room here, just not enough product to fill it yet. Tunze is changing a lot, adding on to the factory and modernizing with robots and conveyer systems so in time we will be where we need to be.

nice... maybe they should open a plant here in the USA....:D

Those are osmolator reservoirs on the side of the shelf and we package the 500 and 600 filter kits in them (top shelf). The 200 Nano Reef Pack comes in the smaller reservoir.

Congrats

Congrats

Roger, Congratulations on your new warehouse. As the chinese
saying goes, " may you business prosper and thrive like a million
blooming ricordeas and 2 dancing lionfish":D

Roger, yes, congrats!!!!! You have a small fortune in product in there.

BTW, my 2 6080's in my 180g freshwater set-up are doing a great job......gently sweeping my sand bottom 4x daily at 15 minute intervals (6am, 12noon, 5pm and 12midnite). My moba fronts are loving the clean sand, the short current runs and breeding like crazy!!!!!

Ron,

Have you found that the current reduces aggression? This is something I have noted with malawi cichlids in particular and it has become controversial but I swear it is true and I am not alone in this observation. It may not be true for all fish but for the malawi cichlids in particular it is definitely true.

Roger, fronts are probably the most peaceful within the cichlid family. The only time mine go at it is during spawning time. My twin 6080's are only on for short, burst periods...15 minutes at each cycle--4x daily. They do more to move all the gunk off the sand bottom toward my eheim filters located at either end of my tank.

My moba fronts really love swimming in the current though...instead of hiding out in the caves, the big boys and big girls come out and ride the current. These are wild-caughts and most say there is not much current at the depths where these fronts live back in Lake Tanganyika. Maybe not, but these fronts really love the current and get good exercise! LOL

Congrats again on your new digs.

It looks like there's room in there for a small assembly line and some workers wearing lederhosen. Maybe that would help with the shortage problems.

 It is something we have considered for the future but many shortage issues are due to parts and materials and not actual labor. They are expanding the factory in Germany and that should be complete by late next summer.
