We need a place like this in the bay

Maybe we can organize a GB? :P Your driving or flying?

Split gas between a few people perhaps?

Some items aren't too great but the prices of their tangs is just outrageous.

That store suck dude. Very gheto setup. The price is way up there. Price is based on how you look.

You were there last time u in LA?

heard very mixed reports down in socal about that place too..

i think its similar to 6th ave or the lucky goldfish in sj (not the oakland one, which is totally different and has very nice quality stuff..)..

The store stink :D .. The floor was wet. Coral looked half dead.
If you think they sell Black Tang for $99, think again. One of an old couple asked for the price on the Yellow Tang and the guy told him $65 for a 3-4" YT...

I got there around 4PM (they close at 7). Their day light was off. I couldn't see well so I asked one of the guy if there is any daylight on these tanks. The answer was don't know. I found the switch and turned it on. Another guy (look like the owner) came over and turned it off. He said don't turn it on because it will shock the coral. ..

I would have asked him if he wanna sell anything? Might as well put the closed sign up and go home in that case.

I was going to but there was 15 employees in that store and I was by myself  ..

So that's when you show them Reefcentral and show them the 4k posts that you have made here. LOL That would shock him instead of the corals!

did you see the LR price?

"Live rock FULLY cured $1.99 per lbs (min 2000 lbs) Tonga Slab, Fiji Branch, Marshall Island and "

Rock wasn't too bad..

$2-$3 for baserock in water
$3-$4 for ok looking rock
$7 for rock with full of hair algae (because it more "live" than other)
