Lost power sometime early morning due to an outage and is not back yet. My DT temp is already down to 71F and the house is as cold as a freezer.. Don't have any inverters or generators

As per RGE, power should be restored by noon. Crossing my fingers that nothing happens to the tank till then...

Im in East Aurora (a suburb of Buffalo) and the snow has been coming down since this morning non stop, and its that wet heavy stuff no power outage tho. I kinda wish there would be one... I work with computers no computers = me go home. lol I live in an apartment complex and the complex has a generator that powers all the units when things go down because our heat is electric. The generator is run off of natural gas on the property lol so when the power goes out i not only still have electricity but I dont have to pay for it at the time! lol

all that talk about how i had power, well no power from midnight last night until about an hour and a half ago and i did not get a drop of snow and it was niceer out when we lost the power. Weird i def though i was in the clear!
I got to use my new generator at least Now I know it works mint!! Just a 5000 watt husky with briggs and stratton engine. So smooooooth starting it, just a quarter of a pull!!
