I purchased a Panasonic BL-C131A wireless IP camera for watching my reef tank. Here is the link to watch the camera.

To see the camera select the single tap. You can play with the camara moving the lens, adjusting the settings.

Please don't play with the setup, internet and maintenance taps.

Enjoy

I felt like turning around and getting a cold beer from your fridge.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful tank and the super cool technology.

I purchased the camera refurbished at ebay for $184 + shipping. This is a IP camera which means that no computer is required because it connects directly to the wireless modem.

If you have a DSL internet service there is no additional cost. Just open a port in the router, setup the camera and thats all.

I have a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 USB webcam but I have to turn on my computer for it to work. The Logitech image is better. It is also cheaper, only $50 refurbished at ebay. For this camera you need to download the Windows Media Encoder software which is free, to set it up.

Check the logitech webcam in my webpage. There is some music so turn up the volume. Wait a couple of seconds for the camera to buffer.

I unplugged the camera yesterday because it is located in the middle of my living room and I had some visit comming. Now it is connected again. Try now.

The best time to view the camera is at night to avoid light reflections in the glass.

not working for me. I was looking at this camera but didnt realize you could post a public link to it.

For some reason the Panasonic webcam is not conecting to my router. I have to check what is happening. The Logitech is working.

You may have problems with keeping a static IP with a DSL router. Most LSPs either won't allow it or charge extra for the capability. The IP probably changed after you plugged it back in.

I have a dynamic IP address using DynDns. I think the problem is with the webcam. When I turn it on the orange light starts blinking then the green light and does'nt stay green. It gets orange again which is a sign that is not connecting to the router.

I will verify with Panasonic technical service.
