Webcam while away!

I am using a webcam program to keep an eye on my tanks while I am out of town.

Wish I had some extra cameras to use (one for each tank)

But this should do just fine to make sure nothing catastrophic happens while I am away!

Nice. What is the setup required to do the webcam streaming?

You need windows media player and the camstream software provided by the site.

And a camera of some sort.

Wish I could get a better focus, but it works good enough to make sure the pumps are running, power is on and that fish are swimming around.

The camera is my camcorder and its about 7 years old. So arguably it was free. Software is free with the free registration on the website.
