Weird Anemone Behavior

I have a good sized BTA in my 55 gallon reef tank under T5's. For the most part it is doing great, but i have a strange problem: My BTA looks great almost all day, especially in the mornings, but towards the end of the day it shrinks and retracts for an 1/2 hour or so and then fills back up and looks great again. I have no idea why it does this, i am not adding a buffer or feeding the tank at this time. My water parameters are fine (salinity 1.025, Nitrates 0, Calcium 400, kH 10) and I think it is getting plenty of light , as it is high in the tank. I was wondering if anyone had heard of this before. Any suggestions and comments are welcome!

Mine does this sometimes. It doesn't seem to bother it. As long as it is sticky and eating good, I just let it do its thing.

sigh of relief.......

Mine is sticky and eating well, so I won't be freaked out the next time it does that, I will keep an eye on it though.

My BTA inflates and deflates every once in a while. Just out of curiosity, what is the flow like in your tank?

I run 2 Tunze Nano Stream 6045 and a koralia 3. This is plenty of flow.

EDIT: Right now one of the impellers on my Koralia 3 is broken so I am not using it currently. I am i the process of getting a new impeller from Hydor.
