weird behavior

so i just saw a little bit of weird behavior, i know clowns are usually goofy little guys but this confused me, i know males will have siezures or spastic shaking to show the female she's dominant, well my clowns have been together for 6 months now and have been pairing up but i look over and i see the female and the male both shaking first the female then the male, is this part of the mating?

It is normal pairing behavior... I do not necessarily agree that the shiver by the male is a solely a submissive behavior..

One of my pairs only the female does the shiver.. She is 4x as large as the male..

oh ok that actually makes sense now that i see my female doing it that it means something else
