Weird mollusk hitch hiker.

Bent

I got nothin'
I've had this guy in my tank for a while and for the life of me I can't remember if it hitched on some crap from the LFS or from the TBS rock. He's never been in a place for me to get a good photo, until now.

It moves at night time if it feels the urge. Behavior wise, it will find a place it likes and sit there for a few days or weeks and suddenly when the lights go out one night, it will randomly jet at high speed to a new spot. This time it has chosen to anchor to the corner of the tank.

Wth is this thing?

Def not a stomatella.

So far I'm leaning towards ark clam. From the looks of research it appears to be a "bearded" arc clam.

Who knew? I'm really not familiar with the bearded clam in the sea animal sense...
