my normally yellow sebae anemone with purple tips is now starting to get red tips on a few of its tenticles...any idea what this is or means?

Hard to say w/out pics/specs.
They will change colors in diff light/health.
I've even seen tips get brighter after feeding.
What are all tank params, light, how long running?

Hmm, you say the sebae is yellow which is not at all a natural color for a sebae anemone. Your anemone is probably dyed (Body is bright yellow with purple tips) and is not healthy at all. Normal sebae anemones should be a brownish/purple color. Yellow sebae as well as the white sebae anemones tend to wither away and die in a couple of weeks after their purchase.

i've had that anemone for three months and it was the same color when i got it. the guy at my lfs said it was a rarer find due to its colors...but i have heard of dyed anemones before. last time my water was tested it showed some nitrates and a slight bit of ammonia...and my light is 130 watts (65 actinic, 65 10,000K). my camera cant get a good picture of the anemone with the red tips

well, first, there should be 0 amo.
trates, how high?
Light is low for a sebae.
In healthy conditions a bleached or dyded nem can easily come back.
How long has tank been running?

normally my ammonia is 0 and the trates are 10-20...i cant get them down. my anemone has a clownfish hosting it so it does get fed by the clown to help it get food...and it seems perfectly healthy for the 3 months i have had it..my tank has been up for 4 months now. my tank is a 36 gallon and idk if you count the sand and rock in the tank to calc lighting...but 130watts/30 = 4.3 watts per gallon i would guess. here is my anemone but my tanks lights arent on in this pic

Yeah, thats a pretty typical bleached, maybe dyed sebae.
Mine looked the same when I first got it.
It should get more tan as zooanthele builds up.
Your light is a bit low for that nem, and it will outgrow that tank not too long from now.
Watch those intakes.
The fact you still haven't posted params concerns me.
You should post all, even salinity.

i have had one for over a yr that looks just like yours and is completely healthy! its not really yellow though its white with purple tips.
