Not if it is structural. If your trying to fix a crack in a reactor or skimmer body type of situation and as long as they are contained within a sump (in event of leaking) then epoxy might work but I would expect it to lose adhesion after time.
There are several brands of acrylic solvent. Any sign shop or acrylic shop has them. If you use anything in a pinch you may end up making it worse and prevent future repair. Exactly what are youj trying to fix. 16 is convenient but not ideal for most situations.
