Weld on 16. Where to buy

neither one of those carries it (at least not where I live) when I was looking for it so I ordered mine online but was told that some specialty hobby stores might carry it.

I found mine at a local glass shop. I think many glass shops dabble in some acrylic work as well as the glass.

Not if it is structural. If your trying to fix a crack in a reactor or skimmer body type of situation and as long as they are contained within a sump (in event of leaking) then epoxy might work but I would expect it to lose adhesion after time.

There are several brands of acrylic solvent. Any sign shop or acrylic shop has them. If you use anything in a pinch you may end up making it worse and prevent future repair. Exactly what are youj trying to fix. 16 is convenient but not ideal for most situations.
