So, I ordered RC from DFS and they sent Instant Ocean instead. You wouldn't believe this, I just got off the phone and they are sending me the correct item at no charge and I don't have to return the wrong item either. Hahahahha, every once in a while we catch a break. They say the box isn't worth shipping back, which I'm sure is the case. I buy the 200g boxes and I bought two boxes. We will see if they ship two boxes or one box, since I told her I would need to use one box asap as it's water change night and I already mixed it up last night. I knew something didn't look right when the box said Instant Ocean and was purple, but WTH I figured I would use it anyways. One water change with IO couldn't be to bad right? I thought I might even mix the RC and IO together and get all the use out of it. Any thoughts peps?

The composition of additives are different (lower levels of alk, ca, mg and trace elements) RC also have a vitamin supplement that IO doesn’t, but other than that it will work fine many people switch from brand to brand without any ill effects. If your dosing anything you may have to adjust them to accommodate the lower levels, but test them first.

You gotta just love the customer service at DF&S. I've always had things made right on those few occasions where they have made a mistake. And... they've always made sure that I wasn't on the loosing end of a transaction. They do a great job for both live and dry goods. Not as convenient as the LFS, but service.... well it's pretty hard to touch.

By far top notch! The lady was super nice and didn't make one excuse at all. They have my business for sure. It's nice not having to battle about it. I got two new boxes for free.
