So as of today, I am the proud owner of a juvenile yellow tang. My friend had to tear down his saltwater tank because of money reasons, and he had to give it to me because it had no where else to go. I'm running a 55g tank with a 40b sump. I have 2 clowns, a coral beauty, and a lawnmower blenny in it. So what should I do with him? I know the absolute minimum for these tangs are 100 gallons. He isn't really much of an active swimmer though. But that's probably because he's adjusting. He was in a 125 before this. I have nowhere to take him in the foreseeable future because I live in the middle of nowhere and my lfs will not take fish in. Would it be ok for him to live in the tank for awhile? He's probably the size of a tennis ball when he flares out. Upgrading right now is out of the question because my 55 is rather new. He has quite a bit of open swimming space because I don't have much live rock. It only goes maybe halfway up the tank. I already have frozen food for it. It also apparently loves romaine lettuce lol. This fix wouldn't really be short term. But it wouldn't be long term either. I just kinda got stuck in the situation lol. But long story short. Would it be ok to stay here for awhile until he gets another tank set up at some point?
