It sort of looks like a shed to me, I'd give it a few days to see if your shrimp magically shows up again.

Just this week my Symphyllia agaricia brain coral ate the molt from my cleaner shrimp; complete with the antennae.
At first I thought it was the shrimp, but it was hiding in the back.
 
Agreed, I don't think it would be possible for the shrimp to sit there and let itself get eaten seeing how slow that process can be

Unless your just joking because its a cool pic, you seem like the type of person that would realize that based on your past posts
