Well water TDS 10

The TDS coming from my whole house filter is 10. We are on a well. We use a pressurized tank and high end filter cartridge that removes sediment and contaminates. I’ve attached a picture of the filter. My question is do I need to still run an RO/DI system with the existing home system?

Yes. That cartridge is equivalent to the first two stages on a RODI filter. The sediment cartridge and carbon block.
What comes out is not close to RODI really.

Not to high jack a thread but how would one do that? I’ll be switching over to well water soon and the only hook ups will be after the softener

The easiest way is to put it in an open top container and aerate it for a few days so it comes to contain the same gas concentrations as air. You can tell this by the pH I think.
