Wes's cube build

You can pick up a 3 ton Wern Wench at Tognottis in Sac. Like $250.00 JK. Gotta be a sound system place for bands and concerts places where you can buy a lift system. Like the ones they use to lift lighting equipment and speakers.

That Jawbreaker looks familiar Wes. Glad it's doing well for you.

And that lift, looks great. I'm definitely going to have to come and visit. :p

Thanks guys. Bryan.. I'm planning to move the tank on my next weekend off, in two weeks. I'll text you to see if your free :) Mark, come on over anytime. Just don't forget my corals :lolspin:

Just picked up another project

The guy at taps said I have to wait 4 weeks for the off gases to clear before adding any livestock to the tank. Anyone have experience with this?

Sump building?

4 weeks is way overkill. I built my sump from 3/8 and used weld on 4 then 16 over that to make sure. Had it dry for a few days, two days leak testing and in to use it went.

I would get some weld on 16 if this is your 1st.

Well things are moving along. I finally had a chance to do the aquascape like I wanted and combine the two tanks. I also moved the tank to its new spot in my house. Here are a few shots.

Still trying to figure out a better way for the white canopy. I didn't like the look of the arms hanging on the walls. I think I'm going to build a track system behind the stand and use actuators to lift the canopy up and down.

Wow that's is the best looking cube I have seen in a very long time. The aqua scraping is amazing and it looks way bigger then 30x30. I love the video. This is in my top 5 cubes.

Hey Wes -

That setup kicks ***. Very cool. Also very interested in how you will automate the track, etc. Very clean setup! Looking forward to seeing it all polished up when everything is humming along in 3-6 months!
