It's being Married with a tank that is bad. It's like two wifes, and the non-tank one gets mad that your spending more time with the tank.

I just tell the gf she needs to help me setup stuff on the tank or select corals and other inverts when we go to the store. That way she has been included and i get my tank time

It's the not so awesome version of polygamy. I have tried to get my wife in involved with the tank. She likes the fish and stuff, but she is more into shoes & Coach purses

She enjoys the tank, likes the way it looks. She just hates the cost of equipment, and the time I put into it. I know there are some lady reefers out there, and I think that's awesome. However, my wife is defiantly not one of them. One thing I have going for me is our 14 month old loves it.. If I need to contain him for a little I can put him in a high chair with some finger food in front of the tank, and he will sit there for a good 45 minutes watching in deep amusement.

You want another hammer coral since the one you got didn't make it (any ideas?)? Trade you again for a birdsnest test frag. The one you gave me didn't make it either. Maybe your system was too "clean" and mine was too "dirty"! Changing my charcoal out for Purigen to see if that helps. Also, changed out VHO T-12's for Radions. After a month Hammers are still doing well in the DT.
I should be here in November when you get back. LMK
