Skimmer is getting better and better.. I will keep you guys posted.

Please do. I am very interested. Not happy with the stock skimmer. I was thinking of switching to the Tunze 9002 but I am reluctant to lose the center chamber. This would be a good alternative if it performs well.

Well, I added 50 grams of GFO and 1 cup of Premium ROX 0.8 Aquarium Carbon on 1/28/2011.

Here are a few updated pictures. I know, I've got an algae bloom. But, I added the Carbon, GFO, and I plan on adding a bit of clean up crew and it should start going away soon.

I'm running the 150 watt double ended Phoenix bulb. I still have my stock ballast on the nano, seems to be working perfectly fine for me.

Yeah, I threw in 4 Mexican Turbo snails and a frag of red monti cap as the tester coral last night.
